Ah-Keisha is an award-winning writer, director and creative arts facilitator. She began working professionally as a songwriter and playwright as a teen, and has led workshops for students across many demographics including K-12, college, non-profit organizations, and mental health and rehabilitation centers in NYC and Philadelphia. She is a faculty member and thesis advisor for the Masters of Arts in Applied Theatre program at the City University of New York’s School of Professional Studies, and is Project Director for Sound Thinking NYC, a program of the Creative Arts Team (CAT). Ah-Keisha holds a BFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, and an M.S.Ed in Reading, Writing and Literacy from the University of Pennsylvania.
