BMHC Percussion Discussion – Castanets

JoDe Romano and Samir Langus will discuss & demonstrate castanets used in there respective music traditions, flamenco castanets from southern Spain and the metal quarqaba castanets from Gnawa community of Morocco. The discussion will be moderated by BMHC co-artistic director and 8-time Grammy nominated bandleader, percussionist, educator, Bobby Sanabria.
