Chelsea Music Festival: Family Event— Saturday Salon with Fanny & Felix

Chelsea Music Festival launches its annual June Festival with five dynamic days of concerts, conversation, and tastings with musicians, visual artists, chefs. Taking inspiration from the rich siblinghood, friendship, and deep bond between Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn on the 175th anniversary of their passing, Co-Artistic Directors Melinda Lee Masur and Ken-David Masur present “Not Without You,” which honors the Mendelssohns’ legacy and the need for collaboration.

Fanny Mendelssohn was well known for hosting salons in her living room, attracting guests ranging from famous poets to royalty. She created a welcome and inspiring space for all, and we open up this space to welcome the entire family to get creative today!
