Concert: Ed Cherry Trio

NYC Parks Arts, Culture & Fun and the Jazz Foundation of America present the Ed Cherry Trio. Since his 14-year run with Dizzy Gillespie, guitarist Ed Cherry has cemented a spot as one of the great small-group bandleaders in jazz, especially in the organ trio format. With half a dozen albums under his name, he is in high demand, especially since his two recent releases with Posi-Tone.
