Make Music New York – Mass Appeal Vocals, Mozart’s Requiem

Back by popular demand, singers of all skill levels are welcomed and encouraged to take part in a rousing performance of Mozart’s masterpiece in the heart of Central Park. Conducted by Douglas Anderson, Manhattan Borough Community College.
The Music and Art Department of the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC), under the direction of Maestro Douglas Anderson, will present one of Mozart’s great musical masterpieces, and also his last: Requiem in D minor. Singers and instrumentalists are invited to register for this open-call performance of Mozart’s profound and solemn by visiting the special program’s Eventbrite page at Mozart’s Requiem.

On June 21st, the gathering of participating musicians begins at 5:30 pm and the performance begins at 6:00 pm sharp.
