Make Music New York: Sousapalooza

The always popular participatory program affectionally known as Sousapalooza returns this season with a special evening performance from Bryant Park. You don’t need a ticket to join the event, just come out and enjoy!
Calling all brass, woodwind, and percussion players of all backgrounds and skill levels! You are invited and encouraged to join us by sight-reading the marches of the incomparable John Philip Sousa on the spot, in a pop-up performance from Bryant Park’s Upper Terrace under the direction of conductors Oscar Wiley Thorp.
