Musical Instrument Making with Louie Miranda

Join Materials for the Arts (MFTA) for a live creative reuse instrument-making workshop with musician and teaching artist, Louie Miranda. Through MFTA’s education programs, Miranda teaches students and educators how to use music and sound as a tool for learning and ways to create musical instruments from commonly found objects. During this event, you’ll learn how to transform the items around your home into unique music-makers. MFTA is pleased to present this event in partnership with the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs.
