U.S. Army celebrates its 246th Birthday through a series of public events in every Borough presented by the U. S. Army New York City Recruiting Battalion, culminating in a Times Square Cake cutting ceremony at the iconic Military Island U.S. Army Recruiting Station in New York City’s Time Square with military ceremonial music and a performance by the U.S. Army Field Band, “As You Were” and more; including a future Soldier swear- in ceremony!
