Avery Jones

KOTA The Friend is a multi genre artist, songwriter and producer from the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn, NY. He is known by peers and fans as one of the most innovative independent artists of our time. At the age of 7 he started writing poetry and raps. In grade school he learned to play trumpet, keyboard, guitar and bass. He would later learn to produce music and shoot/direct/edit videos. Kota puts artistry before industry and is spearheading an art first movement with his brand "Local Art Dealer".
