Charu Suri

Bio: Charu Suri is a GRAMMY nominated pianist and composer who is known for blending Eastern music (notably ragas) and jazz. She has performed all over the world and makes her sixth appearance at Carnegie Hall in 2026. Her work has been played by Yo Yo Ma, John Patitucci, Steve Gadd, Presevation Hall Jazz Band, Ron Carter and many others. Charu has built audiences and communities globally who appreciate diverse cultural influences and nuances in jazz, and has connected with educational institutions through masterclasses, jazz clubs, concert halls, performing arts centers as well as house concert audiences. She is also passionate about education as a Steinway educator and runs her own music academy.
