Cybele Fasquelle

Ming-An Fasquelle is a passionate vocalist, songwriter, and student in the highly selective dual-degree program at Harvard University and Berklee College of Music. Driven by a commitment to creative expression and personal growth, Ming-An draws inspiration from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s words: “If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl, but by all means, keep moving.” This mindset fuels both his artistic journey and his dedication to lifelong learning and global impact.
Born in Beijing, China, and of Eurasian heritage, Ming-An began his musical journey at a young age, captivating millions as a featured soloist on China's CCTV New Year Special with a performance of "You'll Be In My Heart." Since then, his voice has graced iconic stages including the Staples Center, the Apollo Theater, and the Clive Davis Theater. His performance of “America the Beautiful” in Mandarin for Coca-Cola’s Super Bowl “It’s Beautiful” campaign brought a message of cultural unity to national audiences. He also had the honor of singing for Berry Gordy during a birthday tribute celebrating the Motown founder’s legacy.
As a songwriter, Ming-An has twice placed in the international RFK Human Rights x Grammy Museum Songwriting Contest, earning both 1st and 3rd place honors. He has also penned songs for impactful organizations such as the American Cancer Society, using music to promote healing, advocacy, and hope.
Ming-An is deeply passionate about creativity, critical thinking, and multiculturalism. His goal is to become the best version of himself while empowering others to do the same. Through his music and message, he strives to build bridges across cultures and generations—one song at a time.
