David Lai

David Lai (he/him) is an original founder of Park Avenue Artists and an acclaimed Grammy® and Emmy® award-winning producer, music director, and conductor whose work spans Broadway, classical, jazz, and pop music. Over the course of his career, he has worked with renowned artists including Joshua Bell, Itzhak Perlman, Yebba, Renée Fleming, and Josh Groban. His award-winning recording credits include Broadway cast albums such as Hadestown and West Side Story, alongside productions for artists across multiple genres. David previously served as A&R executive and producer for Sony Masterworks and has contributed to numerous PBS and HBO specials featuring celebrated performers. As a conductor and music director, he led over 6,000 performances of The Phantom of the Opera and contributed to productions including Hadestown, Sweeney Todd, and Come From Away.
