Gloria Kaba

Gloria Kaba is a sound engineer, producer, mixer and writer with over a decade of experience in the studio. She began her career as an intern at Battery Studios before taking on an assistant engineer role at MSR Studios. There, she spent 6 years working with esteemed engineers, producers and artists including Madonna, Beyonce, Salaam Remi, Aretha Franklin and Frank Ocean. Her freelance work includes engineering on A Tribe Called Quest’s final album We Got It From Here...Thank You For Your Service and on Solange’s breakthrough release, A Seat At The Table, working closely with legendary hip-hop artist and producer Q-Tip. Kaba is now focused on producing and mixing on a variety of projects. She most recently worked with acts like Kelela, John Batiste, Yebba, Emily King, and Nathalie Joachim while collaborating with the likes of rising stars Kaina, Jaywood and Baker Boy. Gloria is currently the Technical Director at the legendary Power Station recording studio in New York City.
