Jordy Freed is an award-winning brand marketing and business development executive with over 15 years of experience at the intersection of technology and culture. As Head of Brand, Business Development & Strategy at Sony, he leads global campaigns, strategic partnerships, and product innovation across entertainment, consumer, and pro audio technology. 

Named to Spin’s “Top 25 Most Influential People in Music 2025,” Adweek 50 (2024), Business Insider’s “14 Rising Stars of Brand Marketing” (2024), and Variety’s “Hollywood New Leaders” (2023), Jordy has built impactful partnerships with Spotify, Amazon Music, SoundCloud, Intel, Pernod Ricard, the E.U. Government, NHK, and more. 

At Sony, he launched the global “For The Music” campaign and collaborations with Post Malone, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Alicia Keys, Miguel, and Peso Pluma. 

In 2025, Jordy served as the architect of the Sony Audio Institute at NYU—a 10-year collaboration with NYU Steinhardt focused on immersive learning at the intersection of music, technology, and business. He also formed partnerships with The Recording Academy and BandLab Technologies to engage the next generation of creators. 

Previously, Jordy held roles at Blue Note Entertainment Group, Grey Group, and Rivet VR. 

He holds an MBA from University of Southern California and a B.A. from Temple University.
