Lee Dannay

Lee Dannay is Head of A&R at Thirty Tigers, a premier independent label services company renowned for its innovative approach to marketing, distribution, and creative development. With over three decades of experience in A&R and music publishing, Lee has held senior executive roles at Columbia Records, Epic Records, and Warner/Chappell Music, where her visionary leadership played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of celebrated artists such as John Mayer, Brandi Carlile, Train, and Moby. Today, she continues to champion artistic excellence, working with an esteemed roster that includes Corinne Bailey Rae, Rosanne Cash, Amos Lee, Bruce Hornsby, Béla Fleck, and Taj Mahal.
A passionate advocate for the creative community, Lee currently serves as President of the New York Chapter of the Recording Academy. Beyond her industry leadership, she is deeply committed to philanthropy and education, actively contributing to organizations such as Musicians on Call and mentoring emerging talent through She Is the Music and Grammy U. She serves on the boards of We Are Moving the Needle and the Cornell Media Guild and is a member of the City Parks Foundation’s SummerStage Arts Committee, SONA’s Advisory Council and Music Will’s National Advisory Board. Dedicated to fostering the next generation of music industry professionals, Lee frequently speaks at top academic institutions and music programs across the country and imparts her expertise as an adjunct professor at NYU’s prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.
