TuneCore and Believe AmericasMaria Ho-Burge is Vice President, Global Head of Communications & Industry Strategy at TuneCore, where she leads the company’s global communications, executive visibility, brand positioning, and industry relations efforts. Since joining TuneCore in 2020, she has helped elevate the company’s profile as a leading advocate for independent artists through strategic media placements, partnerships, and speaking opportunities, while also strengthening collaboration with parent company Believe.
Ho-Burge also helped launch the annual BE THE CHANGE: Gender Equality in the Music Industry study, a multi year initiative focused on raising awareness around gender inequities in music and driving industry change.
Before TuneCore, Ho-Burge spent more than a decade at Universal Music Group as SVP of Global Corporate Communications. Earlier in her career, she led corporate communications for Jive Records and Zomba Group of Companies, representing artists including Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, and NSYNC.
