Mary Brown is a two-time Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, producer, and vocal coach best known for writing Destiny’s Child’s #1 breakout hit “No, No, No.” A prolific force in the music industry, she has written, produced, and performed on numerous Billboard chart-toppers and Grammy Award-winning tracks. Her credits span a wide range of icons and rising stars, including Mary J. Blige, Wyclef Jean, Michael Jackson, Summer Walker, DJ Mustard, Whitney Houston, Jack Harlow, Roddy Ricch, Patti LaBelle, Macy Gray, Queen Latifah, and Jaheim. With 15 Platinum and 6 Gold certifications from the RIAA, Mary has also received multiple BMI Publisher and Songwriter Awards.

Her leadership extends beyond the studio. She’s a former Co-Chair of the Recording Academy’s Songwriters & Composers Wing (NYC Chapter) and continues to advocate for music creators through her policy work.

Mary is a professor at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music and frequently leads workshops across the globe, nurturing the next wave of music talent. She spoke and performed at the UN Women for Peace Association’s Annual Awards Ceremony.

Her company, Ms. Mary’s Music Inc., continues to collaborate with major artists while mentoring new voices in the industry—proving that timeless skill and fresh energy can go hand in hand.
