Neonlichter’s knack for finding contrasts and polymorphic textures across genres has garnered acclaim and scorn in equal measure, most memorably deemed “complete dystopian garbage”. Whether through astral zoners, geometric music, low speed chuggers, or transgenre freakouts, the search is always for the space between the notes, regardless of the BPM or if drums even factor into it.
