Ruth Martinez is Chief People Officer at Concord, where she leads the company’s global human resources strategy and oversees initiatives focused on employee engagement, leadership development, and organizational culture. Since joining Concord in 2019, Martinez has helped guide Concord through significant growth and global expansion, supporting the teams behind its continued creative and commercial success. As a key member of Concord’s senior leadership team, Martinez has played an integral role in the integration of newly added businesses, including Broadway Licensing Global, Ninja Tune Records, and Stem Distribution, ensuring alignment across teams while preserving the distinct cultures that drive each business. Additionally, she is responsible for advancing Concord’s global talent strategy, strengthening leadership capabilities, and supporting employee well-being across the organization. Under her leadership, Concord has built a robust learning and development function, modernized its performance evaluation systems, and expanded global recruitment efforts to support continued growth. Prior to her time at Concord, Martinez spent 17 years at Warner Music Group working across human resources functions. Martinez is based in Concord’s Los Angeles office.
