Suera Sheikhi

Suera Sheikhi serves as Fraud Prevention Manager at TuneCore, where she leverages her legal expertise and experience advocating on behalf of artists to ensure accurate documentation and management of music rights. As a key member of TuneCore’s Operations team, she collaborates with the company’s legal, publishing, and copyright teams to actively combat streaming fraud and maintain the integrity of TuneCore’s distribution, publishing, and artist development resources. 

Outside of TuneCore, as a Board Member at Recording Academy Texas Chapter and as the Board’s advocacy chair, Sheikhi actively contributes to policy discussions and initiatives that underline the significance of the music sector and the right to creative expression. 

While studying at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University, Sheikhi single-handedly managed a law clinic by managing and providing services to 20+ indigent clients, and was actively involved in the Sports & Entertainment Law Society while also serving as an officer for the Environmental Law Society.
