Pandora/SiriusXM

Yan Snead is an emerging New York based music executive passionate about curating innovative artist-centered campaigns, elevating independent talent across various genres, and redefining industry standards to be more favorable towards artists. A Kean University graduate who studied vocal performance and piano, Yan began her career in 2015 as an on-air personality spotlighting indie artists and local Black community leaders. She later served as Editor-in-Chief for Dinner Land Network, where she landed her first partnership with Audiomack. This partnership later led to her first curation gig managing their Hometown Heroes: Jersey editorial playlist - marking the beginning of her music programming journey. Yan also gained recognition for branding Chase N. Cashe's lifestyle and clothing brand, Can’t Buy Respect, which Beyoncé featured on her Black Parade Route in 2020. Currently, she programs R&B alongside Akim Bryant and leads African and Caribbean programming for Pandora Music, while collaborating independently as a vocal and executive music producer.
