Yan Snead
Tatiana “Yan” Snead is a music programmer, curator, and creative executive shaping the sound and direction of contemporary R&B and global Black music through a blend of strategic insight and refined taste. With a background spanning marketing, classical music training, independent media, and DSP-level programming, she has built platforms and campaigns that elevate emerging artists and influence cultural narratives, including editorial leadership at Dinner Land Network, Audiomack’s Hometown Heroes: Jersey, and brand development for Chase N. Cashe’s Can’t Buy Respect—most notably landing on Beyoncé’s Black Parade Route (2020). Her earlier public relations and design work in advocacy at the Katal Center helped drive the successful #LessIsMoreNY campaign into law. Now serving as Assistant R&B Programmer and leading African and Caribbean programming at Pandora, Yan continues to shape global discovery while independently developing artist-focused activations, grounded in her belief that curation is a form of cultural leadership.
