Heidi Sabertooth

Synth Library NYCHeidi Sabertooth is an artist, educator, and community organizer working at the intersection of electronic music, cultural access, and social practice. Active in New York City’s electronic music community since 2012, her work spans music production, live performance, DJ culture, and arts education, with a particular focus on analog synthesis and hardware-based creative practices. She has presented work through platforms including Good Room and The Lot Radio, and her recordings have been released on various labels internationally, including BPitch and Lobster Theremin.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience in community organizing and social work, Heidi’s broader practice examines how technology, education, and collective cultural spaces can expand access and representation within music communities. She has developed youth-focused music production programs with organizations including The Kitchen and Powrplnt, contributed to initiatives supporting women in experimental music through the LoXM collective and festival, and co-founded Synth Library NYC in 2020. As Director of Operations at Synth Library NYC, she works on initiatives that increase equitable access to electronic music instruments, creative technology education, and collaborative artistic practice.
