Rosario Armas
Mezzo-Soprano
New York-based Mexican mezzo-soprano Rosario Armas is renowned for her profound voice, musicality and music versatility, whether she is performing opera, art songs, rancheras, or boleros. She garnered standing ovations during several performances with the Washington Square Chamber Orchestra. Mrs. Armas was born in Tlaxcala, Mexico. She began her vocal studies in 2012 under the guidance of Luis Fernando Cisneros and Antonio Lopez at the vocal studio in Puebla, Mexico. She furthered her education at the Pre-College Division of the Escuela Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM). In 2016, she relocated to New York to pursue a Bachelor's and Master's degree at the Manhattan School of Music. She is currently pursuing her MMA at Yale School of Music.
