Russell Holzman

Russell Holzman is a drummer, producer, and creator born and raised in New York City. Coming from a family of musicians, he received a formal musical training at LaGuardia High School and New England Conservatory of Music, building a dynamic foundation across Jazz, Classical, and contemporary music. He now tours and records extensively with artists including Caroline Polachek, and has worked with producers such as Mike Dean, A.G. Cook, Fred again.., Bicep, David Sitek, Steven Wilson and many others - spanning Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, and Electronic music. His drum videos have amassed tens of millions of views on social media, earning him a large following and lasting influence in the drumming community. Russell is currently based in NYC and does in-studio recording work as well as live performances all over the world.
